Weekend trip to Jervis Bay

The next trip, I made together with Pernille and my roomies Tanya, Meagan and Lauren... This was a rather short one, but I think we all enjoyed it a lot... just two and a half hour's drive out of Sydney, and with only a day and a half off - I really felt like on holiday... Tanya and Lauren had arranged us a surf shack at Seven Mile beach (where i learned to surf some months ago - by coincidence). On saturday we drove to Jervis Bay (where the annual triatlon was on - by coincidence), and had a really relaxing day... finished our mini weekend with some prawns on the barbie, and a bit of wine...

Melbourne - Great Ocean Road - Australian Open

So here's some pictures from the trip to Melbourne. I took a one and an hour flight and met up with Maiken over there. Went out pretty late, and the next day went to pick up the car at the Melbourne TAB branch, and started our roadtrip... after a bit of driving around Philip Bay, drove through Geelong, and made our way to the Great Ocean Road... widely known, but with a reason... one of the greatest drives ever... Music, good company, and driving though an incredible landscape... makes me happy... Spent the next night in Lorne, continued our way... walked through the trees in Otway(left picture below), passed by the fanous Twelve Apostles (middle one below), and ended up in Port campbell. Had another late one there, continued along the coast for a few hours, and then got back to Melbourne inland...
Back in Melbourne, it was time for the Australian Open... We went to see the women's semi-finals. We saw some exciting games, even though Justine didn't make it there... At that point my camera was oput of power, but you probably saw the result on tv some time ago anyway ;o)

Yeah, I'm still alive!

Lately, I've been getting some questions like ' is it still newyear's in Sydney?' and 'are you dead?'... so here we go, a sign of life... let's try and descibe the last two months...
Basically... I spent a lot of time at the autobarn, sold and rented out a shitload of cars, and in between had a good time in Sydney... Living in Double Bay's still wonderful, and there's always something to do in the hours I've got off... Getting pretty used to the life I'm living here... and people around are wonderful... Above I'll try to describe the two trips I made in the mean time...
