Happy New Year from Sydney

Before I forget... let me wish you all a wonderfull 2008!
May all your wildest dreams and desires come true, enjoy each and every day, and most of all, live!

Thanks for all the good wishes I received from o so far away... through e-mail, sms, phone call... they were all heart-warming, but the most surprising came through youtube (grandma's online!)...

I heard the fireworks in Brussels were cancelled, they sure weren't in Sydney... to be honest, I didn't take the picture on top myself... I was in Darling Harbour, but the fireworks were the most impressive I've ever seen...

I've spent Christmas and new year in Danish company (Pernille, Kim, Maiken and Janni)... somehow... wherever I go I end up with Danes around me... anyway, fun people around me, and good language practice for the next time I make it to Roskilde...

Here's some pictures from the holiday season... first one from Christmas eve at my place, second one from a road trip on Christmas day, last one from new year's eve

The appartment

Ok, I know... it's been a while since I've posted anything on these pages... but here we go... time to show some pictures of the place I call home now...

I've been living in the building on the left in Double Bay for over a month now... I've got my own room in a 4 bedroom appartment, which I share with three girls (Lauren, Tanya and Meagan). Double bay is a nice suburb between Kings Cross (where I work) and Bondi (as in the beach). I'm about three minutes away from the train station, supermarket, bottle shop and dvd rental place... so quite convenient... And the closest bar is the Golden Sheaf... which often has live music, has a nice terrace, and serves some exquisit cocktails... There are some nice parks around, and I'm only a ten minute walk away from the sea...

Here's some more pictures from the inside ... my room, the living room and the kitchen...
